The Fund’s defined beneficiary group may include spouses, children, parents and dependants of eligible people.
The relationship matters
Explain your relationship to the employee or former employee and the relevant employment connection. Trustees may ask for proportionate information to confirm that the request falls within the governing document.
What to say first
A useful opening message states who you are, the person or employment history that creates the connection, the broad nature of the difficulty and the help being explored.

Protect personal information
Do not send information about children, medical records, bank statements or identity documents in the first ordinary email. Ask the Fund to confirm a suitable route if evidence is needed.
