What to prepare for a first enquiry

The Fund needs enough context to understand the connection and the question—not a bundle of sensitive documents.

01

For people and families

Include your contact details, the employment or family connection, approximate dates where known, a brief account of the current difficulty and the practical help being explored.

02

For organisations

Include the organisation’s name, legal status, location, charitable purpose, relevant connection, concise project summary, beneficiaries, timescale, total cost and amount requested.

03

Leave sensitive evidence out

Do not attach bank statements, medical records, identification documents or detailed information about children until the Fund tells you what is required and how to provide it.

A clear first page beats a twenty-page speculative application.

Next step

Make the first move small.
